Bond?
they're a group i just recently discovered, they're an all-girl classical crossover kind of genre, & they're really good! they don't compose the music, just play it, but it kicks butt!
i'm sure nobody else has heard of them, but if you have Windows Media Player go to the media guide, then to the classical section..which should be marked by an Anna somebody. once you're on the classical page, you can download the video for Explosive (they're best, IMO) & 3 different songs from their album. don't worry, it's not illegal, since WMP is just trying to sell the album. the video could use some work (as far as timing and scenes go), but it's not bad, especially considering how fast it downloads & how well it plays.
anyways, just wanted to share my finding

actually SHD, i think they do write a lot of their own stuff, i checked out their website again and they don't compose all of it, but they do write a good percentage.

With the classical genre you can't really use the same criteria. Afterall, Nigel Kennedy doesn't write his own material.Sir Myghin wrote:i try not to give much credit to bands thast don't write they're own stuff but i might check em out

The stuff that I've heard by Bond is in a similar vein to that of Vanessa-Mae. Thjey're a string quartet who have taken classical pieces and reworked them with a more modernistic rock beat. works quite well.Sir Myghin wrote:you are speaking with classical that you don't mean classical rock>?
