Actually, it's Broadway music. :-) (D.A. is puking) Other than rock, I like a few show tunes. Phantom of the Opera is my favorite. I caught a couple of shows such as Cats and Chicago. I tease D.A. that I am going to take him to see the Phantom when it comes out at the movies around Christmas. I won't though. :smt058 And when I told him I wanted to ask who else liked music like this, he protested. (Hee hee)I bet I'm in a lot of trouble now! :-D

We like musicals here. My youngest is playing some songs from them in her piano lessons.

awwwww that's not so bad, DA! i love the theme from Phantom of the Opera. it's really beautiful.

i play piano too, in the past i've played songs like Fur Elise & Toreador Song .. which i adore since it's so sharp & staccato-ish! what kind of songs does your daughter play, t?

Dovey plays songs like Matchmaker from The Fiddler on the Roof, and some kids songs, and some contemporary Christian songs. She is in the keys of F, C, and G, simple arrangements, since she started in January.

Schu, ged a keyboard and do it!

Sneaky, little devil. I bet you'll like Chicago and not because of the music but for the women in little black dresses and especially what the lead can do with a chair.
