I thought this was interesting:

Steve L. (Jr's CC) said that Las Vegas was the ultimate test to determine
how Junior may fare for the rest of the year (since Junior doesn't do so well
on 1-1/2 mi. tracks) - and Junior passed the test.

I think we're gonna have a repeat of 2004 (multiple wins), but a c-ship
trophy after Homestead would definitely be icing on the cake for Junior's
career.

You show up here and try to turn the conversation to football?

No chance, Lance.

However, here's something about a certain football team's stadium you
might be interested in...

Go to YT and watch the "Qwest Field Beers" video.

I know, right?

Qwest Field isn't the only one pulling this stunt:

ObRacing: Hope the 24 team whips the pants off of the field this weekend.

Krashalostki (and Penske) are HOT right now and could win 2-in-a-row this
week, but Kyle has multiple wins there too.

I'll go with BK for the win (and points lead) and another T5 for Junior.

The actual RACING was good. They were running three wide A LOT.

Too bad Junior dropped off later in the day.

He had a T5 car until the track surface lost its rubber again.

No problem. Junior's 10 points out. Lots of drivers are far worse off already and are winless (KyBu, Smoke, et al.)

The real snoozefest is this week at Fontana.

Hat's off to Junior and the 88 team for staying in the points race with that
T15 finish in the "Tire Trasher 400" after he scraped the wall with blown tires.

1 point out of P1 after 5 races ain't bad for Junior....or any other driver, for
that matter.

That's right....and here's the kicker: You have to win DURING the Chase to
keep advancing. Then it comes down to points.

M'ville this Sunday (if it stays dry....and I don't think it will).

Gordon's pretty good there. Could be HIS week to win a Chase spot.

That's a good question Bro. We've had 6 different winners in 6 races already...

I'll see what the rules are and post 'em up later.

Here ya go Soups:

"In the event that there are 16 or more different winners over 26 races, the
only winless driver who can earn a Chase Grid spot would be the points
leader after 26 races."

"If there are fewer than 16 different winners in the first 26 races, the
remaining Chase Grid positions will go to those winless drivers highest in
points."

"If there are 16 or more winners in the first 26 races, the ties will first be
broken by number of wins, followed by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver
points."

Man, what was Junior thinking? He tore that car UP!

Gordon has the points lead Soups! I know you're likin' THAT action. 8)

Glad to see Logano win. That's 7 different winners in 7 races this season.

What's not to like about that? I think Nascar's onto something here.

The Monday running of the Texas race and the Saturday Darlington race
means we get 2 Cup races in 5 days! SUH-WEEET! :headbang:
