Fridge wrote:Nice three parter there Me...There could be several meanings to it, depending on your perspective...

Heres another

My Love Grows

Softly as a thought
Escapes this world
Becoming real
Its wings unfurled
My love grows.

Gently as a cloud
Kisses the sky
Becoming one
Entwined on high
My love grows.

Insistent as the pulse
That echoes in my veins
Growing louder
Breaking these chains
My love grows.

Violent as a storm
That breaks upon the shore
Forcing its path
Never unsure
My love grows.

Painful as a knife
That cuts my soul
Laying me bare
As the years unfold
My love grows.

Surely as a thought
Reflects my mind
Showing me you
Making me blind
My love grows?
Thank you schu.

Fridge that is beautiful... I just want to read it over and over again.

The three parts was an after thought after writing the first one and isn't my personal inferno.
I thought the second one was pretty witty of my using fighting fires and I like the third one best.
Nevertheless I am not disillusioned to think I am some fantastic poet. I just enjoy stringing words together.
At any rate thanks for the kind words.
When evil is allowed to compete with good, evil has an emotional populist appeal that wins out unless good men & women stand as a vanguard against abuse.

Words on a string
Are the poet's bling
Tis a better thing
Than he were to sing!

tell her, tell her, tell her,.
the unending task of a man,
as if he were keeping a secret,
and hiding a wicked plan.
(and who's to say he ain't)

loving poetry, loving coffee,
snapping of the fingers,
funny thing, if asking me,
is the smell that always lingers.

As I sit here all alone,
Smelling something burning,
Trying hard to set the tone,
Smelling something burning,

Try to get the point across,
Smelling something burning,
How I feel a sense of loss,
Smelling something burning,

I guess I'll pull my finger,
Smelling something burning,
As I sit here all alone . . . smelling something burning.

Poop is poop
Much more than a word
A sillier name
Some call it a turd

Catch a whiff
Take a sniff
Catch the mystery
Such a tiff

Away again
To la-la land
I'd love to snap
A rubber band

From where we started
Complete the loop
Again I say
Poop is poop

As I jiggle the handle,
my nerves on edge,
I first see some bubbles,
then down goes the wedge.

KAAAA_WOOOOOOOOOSH

There, I flushed.

The end.
