Speaking of proving stuff, here's more proof that a lot of humans suck.
This seriously angers me.
Okay, there's this girl named Andie. She's got this muscular disorder that's relatively rare and progressively worsens with age (she's 17).
A few months ago, Andie became sick and was hospitalized. People were being told that she had a brain tumor, a blood clot in her heart and leukemia. She was put into a medically-induced coma. Then her friend Rachel (also 17) came along to give updates on Andie. Weeks went by and Andie's condition worsened. and it was suspected Andie would soon be removed from life support. Rachel would get so upset about Andie, fearing she would die. Andie had always wanted to be on Oprah or Ellen's show and there was a Facebook group dedicated to getting her story on either show.
Then out of nowhere, Rachel was diagnosed with some kind of cancer as well and was shortly on life support. Her parents and sister had all passed away, so all she had was Andie's mother. The cancer spread rapidly and it was unlikely she would survive either.
There were fundraisers (mostly in Andie's name) to help pay the medical bills and one could purchase "Pray For Andie" stuff.
Many worried about both girls, crying and praying daily.
Makes your soul ache, doesn't it?
Last night, it was discovered that Rachel doesn't exist and Andie made the whole thing up. It was all a very sick and shameful scam. Andie really does have the muscular disability I mentioned above, but the rest was a lie.
I have mixed feelings here. I'm glad she's not really in a hospital knocking on Death's door, but I'm shocked she would fake it for attention and money.
I just hope these illnesses won't strike her down someday.

That does suck Raiden.
I just lost my best friend to Acute Onset Leukemia in March. He was in
his 40's. It hit him out of nowhere, and in 21 months he was gone.
I donated generously to his hospice group in his name because they were
there when we couldn't be and they really cared.
I'm sorry she's sick, but it seems like Andie was reaching out for attention
the wrong way. Think it's from desperation?
Even so, it's cruel to play on peoples' emotions, and I firmly believe in
karma. Just my two cents.

Don't start none...won't be none.
