Lamneth started a Rush thread but what about other bands? Currently I'm well into the instrumental 'Mother and Child Divided' by PTree, a bonus cut from the 'deadwing' album.

Vanessa-Mae - The Devil's Trill
Eagles - Journey of the Sorceror

ELP - Eruption
ELP - Fanfare for the Commom Man
ELP - Pictures at an Exhibition

Oh dear. This is quite the task. Let me see if I can jot a few down quickly.

Well, most of what Doyle Dykes does on the guitar is instrumental and I love his work. So there is that. And classical music, well, there is so much there to love! LOL I think my one most favorite instrumental piece though would be the one that Randy Rhoads named after his mom, Dee. It is on Blizzard of Ozz. That is because I like classical-style guitar and the song is so sweet having been named for his mum. There are more instrumentals but I need to get off to Tacoma in a few min, so I guess I will have to come back later.

Most of the Sky Moves Sideways is instrumental. Steve Wilson sings a bit but mostly the music is wonderful.
Journey of the Sorceror is great too but it's because I'm such a fan of The Hitchhiker's Guide. I didn't know the Eagles played that song.
Ex Threshold bassist Jon Jeary did an incredible instrumental called Segue.

Jeff Beck - Goodbye Pork Pie Hat

Or pretty much anything else by JB. Each time I see him live I'm in awe.
