It's fun to listen to the way people pronounce the name of a city near me as well... Orem.

I have family in Seattle and it always cracked them up when someone from the Midwest said Warshington. :-D

I love taking "outsiders" home to New England and then asking them how they would pronounce Worcester as we drive through it. They usually come back with "War-chester" when it's really "Wooster." Another good town up there is Peabody - "Pea-buddy" (said really fast) rather than "Pea-body".
