Family Guy

Post by Ogg »

Ok, a little late considering it's the seventh series now but I have to admit that I love 'Family Guy' and I don't care who knows it!
The power supply on my computer died just before christmas so I reluctantly skipped through the ridiculous amount of tv channels for a few cold computer-less days until I hit on Family Guy and realised what all the fuss is about, great show, better than The Simpsons imho :-)
Just watched an episode where pot is legalised and...well, a picture paints a thousand words so I guess I'll post a few:-D

It has always been among my few favorite U.S. tv shows. Last nights episode was beyond anything McFarlane has ever done.

A Piece for the Master!

Thanks for the wallpaper, BrOgg! :-)

The wife and I watch it, but I hate that kids can see it in primetime here.

Not cool.

If I caught MY kid watching it, I'd put a size 12 upside his butt, and the
TV would learn to fly. Literally.

Giggity.

On the other side of the coin, if I saw my kids watching it I'd not only congratulate them on their good taste, I'd tell them about other dads who beat their children and throw the television into the street, simply for watching certain tv shows. Oh, they'd really appreciate me then. :-D

Oh yeah...carving up cats with a straight razor, child predation and
perversion is great primetime entertainment for kids.

But hey, whatever trips your trigger. I'm out of that clique.

On a practical slant, it prepares them for shooting fellow humans in the face with a REAL weapon and tossing crying puppies into ravines without the burden of "feeling" anything.

Cartoons don't warp young minds. People do. Abuse and Silence does.
