That's just awful Elf, yet it was totally avoidable.
Where is there mention of NEVER transporting a loaded weapon by
the "gun safety expert" in this article?
It's not legal here.
Might be legal there, but...
Do that here - you get payin' paper, and the cops or game warden get
your weapon, and possibly - your car.

Yep, quite legal here (if the gun is legally owned, registered, etc.).CygnusX1 wrote:

Got it, but still...it's a terrible - but 100% avoidable accident.ElfDude wrote: Yep, quite legal here (if the gun is legally owned, registered, etc.).
He would have faced charges here.
I'll go out on a limb and say that his permit will probably be revoked too.
And rightly so.
IMHO, someone like that should not be in posession of a firearm, but
that's just me.
When I was young, my daddy first taught me firearms safety - and it was
religion.
Don't start none...won't be none.

Yeah, same here. We started with BB gun safety when I was but a wee lad and later moved up to 22 rifles when I was 11 or 12. Then, when I was 15, I took a formal gun safety class. I would never drive around with a revolver simply laying on the car seat the way these guys were doing.CygnusX1 wrote:
