I also happen to be new. I signed up at the old board awhile back, and when i finally felt like posting, its gone.
So yeah, now im here...and i love the place. Best Rush message board i've come across, very user friendly. Hopefully i fit right in.

Thanks to everyone for the welcoming words.
More about myself and where I am from? I am a married father of a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter from Illinois, USA.
I have been posting at Rush boards since about February of 2000, starting with The Solar Federation which soon morphed into the Flyer Forum. I have been a regular poster at Counterparts for about 3 years now. I have run two of my own boards, the Monkey House and Cry Net, but they are pretty much dead and I don't have any interest in reviving them.
Some of my other favorite bands/artists include Blue Oyster Cult, Lana Lane, Joe Jackson, Spock's Beard, The Flower Kings, the Brain Surgeons, Queen, etc.
Enough for now?

Thanks for the welcome, Schuette. I signed up on this board before it crashed, and resigned with a new name, since this name reflects my love of languages.
HowlerMonkey--where in Illinois are you? A while ago I met a guy wearing a yellow VT shirt from the Tweeter Center concert with his family. If that's you, thanks for reviving my interest in Rush.
