The June 5th Chicago Show (semi-spoiler)

Well I just saw the Chicago show last night (June 5th) at the Tweeter Center and it was GREAT!! The stars must have become aligned for me, because by a great stroke of luck I was able to obtain a 4th row ticket on the day of the show at face value. I was able to sell my original 29th row ticket to a...

I liked the photos alot. Congratulations on getting to meet them! Are the red and white things stuck to your shirts the meet and greet passes? How many other people were there to meet them also? Any of the others mention how they obtained their passes? I was wondering how the passes are normally dis...

Yeah, Tom Sawyer. I never would have guessed that either. It would have been too obvious, the most popular song. I thought the song would have been very obscure, something difficult to guess. But then again maybe Rush thought we would all think that? And then picked a very popular song as a kind of ...

Yeah I noticed that riff too. I think the time period was when they were writing Fly By Night, so when they were jamming they just started trying out new material? It is really cool to hear it like that, shows kind of how the song evolved.

I heard the clip from Rush.com and all I can say is...wow. It really sounds like old Rush from the seventies, with those loud in your face guitars that I love. Wouldn't it be great if they wrote some new tunes with that sound and style? I know you can't go back, but it would be more like going full ...

Well they are from a Rush song but not entirely fair that I say that. They are some lyrics for an existing Rush song written by Neil, but later he decided not to use them and were written out. Heres a hint: The song was on Caress Of Steal. Now you just need to hum them and see where they fit in.

I would really like to hear The Necromancer. I think after the huge popularity of The Lord Of the Rings movies, and the books, it would be great to bring this song back. I think it was a very well written story telling song thats gives them an opportunity to really wind out intrumentally.

The studio version middle part of By-Tor is a bit tame, but the All the World's a Stage version kicks ass! Never hit skip turn it up.
