All the studio albums will fit on one CD. At 128kbs, encoding with MusicMatch, they're 700mb on my machine (I didn't have to overburn). Encode over 128, and they won't fit (1.03gb at 192kbs) Hmm?! Is there a toggle to get the extra space at the end of the song cropped off? That has to be what's doi...

Re: Alex as a teen in Canadian Documentary

Does anyone have any idea where one could find the 1968/69 documentary with Alex by independant film maker Alan King? (not the comedian). It is called "Come On Children" and it has the now-familiar reality aspect with loads of teens put together in a farmhouse. This has the song, "Ru...

Wearing the 2112 t-shirt

I have three Rush shirts in my collection: a white Vapor Trails tour shirt, a black Counteparts shirt (with the tortoise and the hare on the front), and a black 2112 shirt. I wear the VT shirt all the time. The Counterparts shirt, I can't wear anymore. It's too small now, and there are small holes o...

How to rip and burn

Thanks, 1001!!! That's great news! I shall assume this is software you have to buy? Well, the only software you'll need is either K3b (if you run Linux) or Nero (for Windows). Actually, K3b is open-source, so you don't buy it; just download it. I've never had a Mac, so I'm not sure what the equiliv...

Make your own Retrospectives III

Using the same theory that Neil Peart used on the first two, I went through the remaining albums and picked out all the songs that was played in concert. I nixed out some of the one-time played songs from the past tours ("Virtuality", etc.). After getting it down to three songs per album (...
