I didn't say they'd never do those things. I said - several times - that such mundane activities should not be expected to make the news headlines.

If I freeze tap water in an ice cube tray, will that freeze away the chlorine and the assorted chemicals that are in my tap water? Nope. Well the website is a lot of scaremongering and not a lot else. RFID chips for domestic animals is a Good Idea. They're invaluable for identifying stolen or lost (ok, found) pets.
