Yes he is 'nite. I completely agree. But there is something about that song that doesn't seem right to me. The emotion in Geddy's singing is great. The concept and lyrics are great. Maybe its Aimee's voice that never sat well with me. But it's more than that too. The tempo is disjointed to me someho...

To me HYF represents "Smooth Rush". PoW was sharp and definite. Like Neil's smaller toms "popping" at the start of "Big $". Sharper still on GD and so on. HYF was like milk. Wide rich layers. Not dark - just thick. "Turn The Page" and "Prime Mover" m...

I'm not sure if they used to play them Kares. "Summertime" I'm sure as that was a standard at the time. Their interpretation of The Seeker should interesting. I'll be a monkey's uncle! I didn't see this coming or Neil's book. Total off guard surprises. What's next? "Rush - The Movie&q...

Don't read too much into anything NPG. Last time I believe they ended up with a 48 game schedule if I remember right in 94/95. I remember because I had Zhamnov in a pool and he ended up third in the league or something. To lazy to check my facts but I think I'm right. BUT...keep in mind. That was 10...

I could see Geddy wanting to pay tribute to Big Johnny Twinkle. "Won't Get Fooled Again" perhaps? Just like yesterday. I can see Alex playing tribute to Jimmy. Love to hear HOTH. Something light hearted - not Kashmir or anything epic. Not sure Ged would handle the blues numbers very well. ...

Major acts often do covers. It's an old blues tradition, a way of paying tribute to other musicians. Bull!!!! It's a way to fill a show and make money. It's gratifying to see that Clapton has finally acknowledged Robert Johnson - cause it seems no one else did. Old Blues musicians have been ripped ...

The new CBA will likely come down to the owners negotiating some sort of cap. If it does happen, it will be phased in over 5years and existing players will be "grandfathered" so any changes will be very gradual. Now...the players (who are currently receiving 70% of all revenues if you beli...

It's not like they never do covers cause hey did one at the SARS concert (Paint It Black), but I think that was a very rare treat and it was done in tribute to The Stones for their years of recording and touring and more importantly it was Rush's way of saying thanks for helping their home town. Ver...

Sorry BT. Iggy and The Little King are not going anywhere. Both are restricted free agents. If Tampa and Calgary can't re-sign them (they will both be looking for approx. 6-7 million) then they will sit or be traded. Frankly, I don't think the Av's have the top level prospects to deal and they're dr...

I wonder how his physical (NHL) style of play will translate over there. Likely into even more dominance. I find that most Swedish players are not nearly as soft as years ago. Players like Holmstrom, Afredsson, Ohlund, Axelsson, etc. ae as tough as nails. Even Sundin has got tougher at the end of h...

Here's a funny one for you all.

there is a good chance Mike Keenan may be the next coach in Ottawa.

He'll ruin Havlat and Spezza. Bonk doesn't stand a chance with him. Alfredsson will likely be better than ever.

This is not the way to get there. Hire a proven young coach like Paul Maurice.
