I'm going to have to put my hand upand say I'm not a big fan of Signals. Admittedly, there are some great songs there but they are almost lost by a very muddy production with Alex's guitar so lost in the mix that he may as well have stayed at home. Listen to songs on Show of hands and Different Stag...

I'm a big fan of AFTK. Another album where all the elements just gel. I suppose, however, it could be thought as a little overblown and pompous in places (not so much as Hemispheres though).

Believe it or not, though, there are a couple of guys over at Rushfan.co.uk who call it crude?

Roll the Bones - one of Rush's finest moments. What can I say about it? Great songs, not a single dud among them, although I particularly rate Roll the Bones, Heresy, Ghost of a Chance and Neurotica. The performances are fantastic and are really brought out by a beautifully crisp production. The cov...

Power Windows is another album which is difficult to explain what isn't quite right with it. The songs are great and the production is crisp. I think, for some reason, it just doesn't seem to hang together.

That said, I think that Manhattan Project and Marathon are fantastic.

I must admit that I'm having a great deal of difficulty getting to grips with Vapor Trails, still. Its not something I can easily put my finger on but I know a lot has to do with the production which seems lacking in some undefinable way. For me the high point has got to be Ghost Rider which sends s...

Presto is a difficult album to categorise. Musically, it is brilliant with some great songs and fantastic performances. The production is good and clear and, all in all, it is a very enjoyable listen. However, at times I find it to be a little cold and souless. Its almost as if all tha passion and e...

Alas, my ultimate bitch of an ex threw away all of my old concert tickets (as well trying to get me to dispose of all my Rush stuff) so I can't recall all the dates off hand, but... Hmm, glad to see that I'm not alone in loving counterparts. There's a couple of guys on another Rush forum (actually, I sometimes suspect that its just one using two names as their posts are so similar) who have got the impression that Rush have done nothing really wothwhile since Hemispheres and tr...
