Greetings,
Today is the anniversary of my first RUSH concert. Sept 25th 1980
Moving Pictures warm up tour at the Spectrum Phila. This was a bitter
sweet day, it all so is the anniversary of day the great John Bonham
died. I remember the day well, fans walking around the hall with
signs , "long live Bonham", "Led Zepplin rules" ect.. The concert
was fantastic,i lost my voice. I look back to that day
(cool sound effect right here) and realize they where still just kids then, but were so
advanced and skilled at playing there instruments. I will never forget
when Geddy first played his Moog Taurus pedles during the concert
the bottom end was so thick it lifted me off my seat. and Alex had
a thing called a cable pluged directly to his amp, aahh the days of
analog.
That's all from the Uncle.
