Nice to see a tribute and "Hall" induction for The Intimidator!!

Look for Junebug to RUN THE #3 in the future(he's said numerous times he's gonna do it, but won't say WHEN), and a BUNCH OF BLACK CHEVYS TO RULE AT TALLADEGA!!!

Thanks YYZ....and welcome back too :-D

One lap away from going green, and the Cup race gets called for rain...ah well....that the way it goes...

Gotta give MAD PROPS to Martin Truex Jr. for his hard-fought victory in the Busch race there on Saturday.....what a fight....

did you see the flip that Tony Stewart took? AWESOME!!! The roof flaps did NOTHING to stop the rollover, and he skidded on his roof almost a quarter mile....After his EXTRACTION, he said: "Man, you won't believe the debris the car scoops in the window when you're on the roof!"

Uh....yeah  Glad he's alright though...that was scary-lookin for a sec...

listening to the race, it seems Elliot Sadler (a good Virginia boy) is the man to beat...Gordo and Jimmy Johnson have something hooking up too...

Edwards and Jr. are complaining to each others' crews about the other's tactics....just one o' them racin' deals folks...

more to come...

The question is, had Hendrick figured out restrictor plate racing now? And where is DEI?

Sorry guys...tried to get outta here in time to catch the finish, but I was a day-late-and-a-dollar-short...DC Metro traffic is WOEFUL...

Congrats to Jimmie Johnson and Hendrick for doing their homework and giving DEI some competition at Talladega....gotta give mad props to Elliiot Sadler though...he hung tough for the most part, and to Tony Stewart, who always seems to find his way to the front somehow....

After taking much ridicule from Sigette (for Dale Jr.'s poor showing), all I can say is "bad day at the office"...We all have'em...he'll be back...

ALTHOUGH...(and you knew this was coming)...MARTIN TRUEX kept the DEI tradition alive at Talladega with his Busch win in the WHAT car? That's right...The #8 Chevy, so it's not a total loss :headbang: hahahaha

Well, the fans are streaming over here to Richmond for race weekend....they had Jamie McMurray's Busch Series show car here at work for a couple of days...nice...

Gettin' fired up for some action under the lights at RIR's 3/4 mile d-shaped oval....it's the "short-track-that-thinks-it's-a-superspeedway"

(for you NASCAR newbies: Superspeedway= 1 Mile or longer....Short Track=1 mile and under)

The cool thing about Richmond is, you can run 2-wide around the whole thing, even though it's a short track...and the cars look SO awesome at night there...they bring special paint schemes to Richmond just for the night races...

My boy did the dirty deed at Richmond! Way to go Junebug! WOOHOO!!!

Good wheel-to-wheel racing Saturday night under the lights....The way it was meant to be! Geez, I wish ALL cup races were on Saturday nights...

Glad he's back too.....He was waaay overdue....Sorry about ol' Gordo Soup...He'll be back though...What's with those Chargers?

Can they not take the heat? What are they gonna do when TOYOTA appears next year? They had better get the bugs outta those Dodge Chargers before next year, or they may as well go back to Intrepids...

Congrats to Greg Biffle(of the Jack Roush "Roushketeers") for winning at Darlington, "The track too tough to tame"....There was some righteous paint-tradin' goin on, and the track was eatin' tires like always...BIFFLE--YOU'RE THE MAN! :headbang:

As long as a Hendrick-owned car didn't take it, it's all good with ol' Siggy... Gordo and Jimbo must be stopped!

My boy "Junebug" placed a fine top-10 finish, in preparation for the "All Star" (formerly known to us old-timers as "The Winston") million-dollar "Dash for the Cash"..THAT'S gonna be AWESOME!!!

NO deal-making, NO teamwork, NO points, NO problem!...All bets are off, it's every-driver-for-himself in this knockout-dragout-shootout for a cool million...(everybody running from each other....it's gonna be SHWEEEET) :-D

You wanna see what happens when there's a million dollars on the line, and no points to lose?

My friends, you gotta see this race....it's the closest you'll ever see to the actual moonshine running that started this whole business...

Check out the NASCAR All Star Race!

Well, once again, Jimmie Johnson takes the LOWE'S Chevy to victory lane at LOWE'S speedway....YAWN....what a buzzkill...

Hats off to Kyle Petty though....His total purse for the race was just over $300,000...that was second-place money in the actual race!, but he got MAD donations for VJG charities before the race.....good for them...

looking forward to the Coca Cola 600....CAN ANYONE OTHER THAN JIMMIE JOHNSON PLEEEEASE WIN AT LOWE'S SPEEDWAY FOR THE COMMON GOOD???

Look for motor problems with the Hendrick cars this weekend. A gut feeling you might say.

Carl Edwards wins it all.
