Just when you thought they jumped the shark...the 48 stinkfest begins. Perfect timing Nascar.

Odds are against Jimmie making the threepeat - he's won 3 times in 24 tries however his last win was at the spring race in 2013.

Junior passed Jimmie in points for P2 after losing at Daytona?

I know where the horseshoe is this year, and it ain't in the 48 car.

I hope it pans out. We'll see.

man.. you really hate to see somebody die like Ward did.. but c'mon man.. It's like swimming in a shark tank wearing a meat suit or making fun of Chuck Norris' beard to his face.. you are just asking for it.. at some point you need to be accountable for your own actions.. what Ward did was just plain ole stupid.. and he paid the price.. :(

RIP dude but no way in Hell should Smoke be held responsible for this..

Sigette's tore up about it (since she's a Smoke fan), but there's nothing but
emotion now, and we're seeing all sides of it until the facts come out.

An accident investigator on TV mentioned that if the accident involved the
rear half of a car, that driver is usually not responsible.

Others have said that Tony popped his clutch and tried to move away from
the kid and the rear of his car went up the track and hit him.

That scenario makes sense.

Either way, the truth will come out. If Tony did anything wrong or intentional
he'd have perp-walked already.

On a happier note, Dale Jr. has the OVERALL lead
(#1 in points and Chase seed) in the standings.

On RaceHub last night they showed Gordon take a shot at Krashalotski then
duck down and sneak out of the ruckus.

The worst part of it was.....no chairshot! Hey - If nascar is going to be like
WWE, at least show us some foreign objects upside the head!

That's okay. Gordon, his 24 team and Harvick are probably going to get
torched today when the penalties come down.

What a disappointment of a chase format. Non-winners are in the chase and
multiple-race winners are out of contention. Iknowright! I don't think this is
what the fans wanted to see happen, and the empty seats at Texas pretty
much showed it to be true.

But hey, it is what it is. Nascar has finally jumped the shark.

I hope non-chasers win the last 2 races - and I hope NEWMAN wins the 2014
championship WITHOUT A WIN.

You DON'T want to miss this Phoenix race. I predict over 1/2 of the race will
be run under CAUTION. There's gonna be more cautions (read: payback) in
this one race than in the other 34 COMBINED.

GO NEWMAN! Win NONE for the Gipper. :P

NASCAR has assessed penalties to crew members from the #5 and #24
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams for their involvement in post-race incidents
on Nov. 2 at Texas Motor Speedway. In addition, the crew chiefs from those
two teams also have been penalized.

Jeremy Fuller, a crew member with the #5 team, along with Dwayne
Doucette and Jason Ingle, crew members with the #24 team, each have
been fined $25,000 and suspended from NASCAR through the completion of
the next six NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship points races. All three
were found to be in violation of:

" Section 12-1: Actions detrimental to stock car racing"
" Section 12-4.9: Behavioral penalty - involved in a post-race physical
altercation with a driver on pit road"

Dean Mozingo, a crew member with the #24 team, has been fined $10,000
and suspended from NASCAR through the completion of the next three
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship points races. He was found to be in
violation of:
"Section 12-1: Actions detrimental to stock car racing"
"Section 12-4.9: Behavioral penalty - involved in a post-race physical
altercation with another crew member on pit road"

Kenny Francis, crew chief of the #5 team, and Alan Gustafson, crew chief of
the #24 team, have each been fined $50,000 and placed on NASCAR
probation through the completion of the next six NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
championship points races. They were found to be in violation of:

"Section 9-4A: Crew chief assumes responsibility for the actions of his team members"
"Section 12-1: Actions detrimental to stock car racing"
"Section 12-4.9: Behavioral penalty"

But NO penalty for KH or Gordon? Oh that's right...they're chasers. They get a pass.

NICE. Real nice. I'm about done with nascar over this BS. I'd rather watch WWE.

Hail to the Redskins.

Krybabyoski should be fined and suspended. He seems to be the common denominator for all of the altercations this past month. Gordon, Kenesth, Hamlin, Harvick and Stewart have all had issues with him..

Kocksuckeroski just has a face you would love to punch.. him and his teammate..

Don't get me wrong. I know BK races stiff and every driver talks about how
aggressive BK is on the track and how he needs an "attitude adjustment." I
get that and I agree. SOMEBODY is going to pay BK back. However,
Harvick lit the fuse on that slobberknocker, and he got off.

I'm po'd that these chase drivers are getting a pass on POINTS penalties
that would have stood in the regular season. It isn't fair to the other
drivers that were penalized with points taken away that could possibly have
costed them a win or a chase spot. To me, it just ain't right.

I feel ya Sigs.. to me.. I think they should just take the gloves off and let them beat the shit outta each other..

I was at least glad that Jeff took off his helmet this time.. he looked like a pussy when he went after Kenesth wearing his helmet a few years ago.

Agreed, Brutha Soups. I noticed Gordon raced BK clean this time but Jeff got
screwed outta the final round by ONE POINT.

GO NEWMAN! Win NONE for the Gipper. Who cares at this point....meh
