He did what he had to do to make it to this point, but that doesn't mean
that the guys he ran over to get there won't return the favor.

Dale Jr. set a personal record after his Phoenix win.

He has won 3 or more races for 3 years straight.

Life is good in the 88 shop. Now, if those 88 pit crew guys can keep all the
lugs tight like they did at Phoenix, he'll have something for 'em in 2016.

Yes. And THEN some.

JAPCAR knows that the Cup Series Toyotas can only produce 725hp and the American engines produce 850hp.

Toyota engines were blowing up on the track in staggering numbers, so Toyota went ballistic on JAPCAR to slow the Fords and Chevys down - so JAPCAR did.

But only the Fords and Chevys.

(You read right....THEY ONLY SLOWED THE FORDS AND CHEVYS DOWN.)

As a result, Toyotas now enjoy a modest hp advantage on the Fords and Chevys. Estimates are between 8 and 15hp in Toyota's favor.

Now the Toyotas "seem" like they are dominant, but that's far from the truth.

Hence JGR/FRR's perceived "dominance"

Gordon retired, the racing is horrible and the marketing is enough to want to make you hurl.

I have not watched a race this year. I could not even tell you who is leading the points this year.

Gordon's driving again (subbing for Junior) and will continue for 2 more weeks.

But Hendrick ain't got nothing on those juiced-up JGR/FRR Toyotas.

You know it's bad when JJ and Chad can't get it done.

They're propping up Kyle for Cup #2.

I'm just about ready to check out of JAPCAR.

Most of my family already has. I'm holding out for Dale Jr.

I hope JAPCAR gives Junior the sweet, sweet package they gave Kyle Busch before he returned last year and won his "part-time championship."

We'll see. If Junior gets a championship after he comes back, I'll know for sure that JAPCAR is the new WWE.
