Siggy - I think this is the first SB era championship played outdoors in a cold climate. The Bears Colts SB was played during a torrential downpour for most of the game if I remember correctly.
That's true. I should have been more precise.

Gonna be lots o' lip synchin' at halftime. *sigh*

There's no way that ANY instument is gonna stay in tune in THAT kind of cold.

I wouldn't bet on that yet - Chad Smith's trolling the media aside. I don't think the RHCP would lip sync - at least I hope not.

Hairball you might remember this..

I saw the RHCP in some warehouse in Honolulu like in 1988 or 1989 There were no seats and they were performing on risers.. there were even forklifts sitting around..

tickets were like $5 if I remember right..

guess they were $10 in advance.. 15 at the door..

I have never really been a fan of the RHCP so I wouldn't have paid attention to that. Sorry mango.

Smith is a bad ass on drums though. :)

I don't remember....and why does my head hurt? :P

All I remember is Sherman on TV bragging about how the Seagulls knew
Peyton's hand signals and that they knew what the play was before the ball
was even snapped.

Really? How? Maybe the NFL ought to look into that. Sayin'

Me Too!!! we finally got a football franchise.. I was 16 and a LA Rams fan ( I was a Dodger's fan so it made sense right?) .. The Colts came to town in 84 and Eric Dickerson was traded to the Colts soon after. I became a Colts fan then.. and it was miserable until about 95.. although 87 was a decent year.. :-) been a Colts fan since
