That's just crazy talk.

He got 'em 2 rings, didn't he? He's not going anywhere.
There's rumblings - but I honestly don't see him going anywhere.

We need to jettison the deadwood though and sign a couple of new pitchers.

That is the other "rumbling" I am hearing - that Theo is going to jump ship/get fired and sign with CHC.

I figure Theo will go to the Cubs.

Thank goodness we have a banner raising next week to end all thoughts of this debacle.

It can always be WORSE.

You should live here and deal with sports mediocrity on a yearly basis. :P

Siggy, sounds like you moved to Seattle! Nobody knows about sports mediocrity like we do! Shoot, we can't even keep a basketball team in town!

I dunno.

Reading this stuff - it's like the Earth will open and swallow New England
whole if the Sox don't win it all, or the Pats...or the Broons. lol

I'm just busting stones here.

They're just passionate about their teams - like DC was when the Redskins and Riggo were the alpha dogs in the NFL.

It's all relative.

I for one respect what Tito did for this team - it's too bad that THE TEAM could not show him some respect back, and that's why he's waiting for either the Cubbies or the White Sox to call him.

Curt Schilling has it right - Saturday morning he said "If Tito can't control this team, it's time to blow it up and start over"

We gave him a standing ovation his first time back to Fenway after the error, and in fact he threw out the first pitch of the 2008 season:
