NHRA Driver Dies in Qualifying Round Crash

I don't know how many of you follow drag racing, but this is a sad day for the NHRA.
I've been into drag racing since I was a kid. My dad and Uncle Steve used to race pro-stock when I was a kid.

I just literally started watching NHRA (two weeks ago) and I had taped yesterday's races to watch later today.
That is sad news.

RIP Scott Kalitta.
NASCAR had a tribute of their own for him and a moment of silence
before the Sonoma Infineon Sprint Cup race in CA yesterday.
The racing community will miss him.
His family represented drag racing
excellence.
