What you hear on the bus

Post by schuette »

when I got the bus down here the day there was a old wifey complaining how the autumn leaves make the place look untidy!!! Rubbish makes the place look untidy but the falling leaves are really pretty and the kids (myself included) loves kicking them around :-D

Yeah, but then they get rained on and they rot and get slippery and dangerous. Plus, in that condition they look just like semi-decomposed dog-poo.

I live 2 houses from a city park. The park is FULL of red maples. Big ass leaves. Plus I have one of them in my back yard. I end up rakeing them bastages until snow covers what still hasn't fallen.
Almost makes me miss the 2 years I lived in an apartment... Almost.

These people will also complain when you try to clean up the leaves using a gas powered leaf blower

We use a rider mower on ours. But they are pretty when they first fall.

My yongest two kids made a fort with chicken wire and maple tree leaves (whiny maples) but theystarted to break down, so my godmother ran over the huge pile of leaves with the riding mower and there is a brown carpet on he grass now.
