The Kindness Room...about everything, and something besides.

Post by Me »

A take off to "Bitch to yer hearts content", which isn't always useless.
At any rate, I think it's time for our hearts to sing a symphony with kindness in our hearts.

I suppose I should start...

The sun goes up the sun goes down...
silly putty slinkys sand boxes of childrens laughter.
Tonka trucks and daddy's laughter of match box cars.
Stories sleep of wonderful rainbows fairy's delight upon a restful night. Hidden silks and chocolates hearts for mommy's laundry.
River flows smoothing stones with kindness of hearts.

You all don't have to make a silly poem or anything like that. Perhaps just something that made your day, week, or month pleasant.

I'll have to apologize for my infomation. It's actually a media day of caring here in and around Philadelphia. Perhaps the socks will grow feet and run, lets hope!

Nice thread Me and my poem is pretty silly.

Flu bug bit,
Feel like shit.

Floppy old gown,
Look like a clown.

Dr. said, "hospital, go, go, go"
Yester said "no, no, no!"

Not deyhdrated,
Just frustrated.

I'll drink my juice,
Let me LOOSE!

The rest in prose, I'm out of rhyme. The doorbell rang and I didn't go. I don't want to buy magazines and I've already bought cookies from the Girl Scouts. Rolled back over and drifted off again. The cellphone rang and since the ringtone is Geddy wailing ...."whoa, whoa, whoa... you can be the captain and I will draw the chart," there is no sleeping through it, but I didn't grab it in time to catch it before it went to voice mail.

The kind voice on the other end was a friend saying, "go to the door. I left you some soup there!" Sure enough, some of the best soup I ever tasted was waiting all cozy and warm in its supersize styrofoam cup right there between the screen and the door with three little packages of crackers on the top. Alex and Geddy were right... sometimes it is all about the soup.

We have all been mad at sometime bones that come to late get the leavings the servants of God thus go the destinies of men reaching for the stars in various places ever thus to tyrants so the glory of this world passes away thus I will, my pleasures stand for reason thus do ye, but not for yourselves bringing kindness and peace to all humanity

Peace on Ye, Me, tis you I wish to see. Yer kindness in my past sadness. This is not a poem. Still love of rose pedals and warm stones are a fond memory. Not for my flesh but for my heart.

My heart is tired. Tired of many places...work, home (sometimes), sometimes I'm tired here but not OF here. Sometimes over there. And I'm tired of the fear. New guard dogs in Grand Central. They're so cute but I'm too tired to pet them again. I can't react anymore.

I'm tired.

But I love the kindness. So I'll join in.

All who love chocolate do not waste.
