You pick it, You peel the outside, You cook the inside, You eat the outside, And throw away the inside. What am I?

What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs in the evening?

Man.
A baby man crawls on four legs; as an adult walks on two legs; when old, man uses a cane.

Does this mean I get to sit throne of Thebes and the widowed queen's hand in marriage? Cool.

Here's one for ya:

How quickly can you find out what is unusual about this paragraph? It looks so ordinary that you would think that nothing was wrong with it at all, and in fact, nothing is. But it is unusual. Why? If you study it and think about it you may find out, but I am not going to assist you in any way. You must do it without coaching. No doubt if you work at it for long, it will dawn on you. I don't know. Now, go to work and try your luck"

Well, I doubt this is what you mean, but the paragraph ends with no full stop but rather with quotes, although the quotes are never opened in the paragraph.

More likely you will say something like, "No, what I meant was that the word the is nowhere in it."

Actually, it's a bit more weird than that. There is no letter 'E' in it.
