General question.......

Why can people be such a-holes when they know themselves that they are far better ?

I think a rant can be healthy. I freak out, have physical symptoms, if I don't let things vent. I don't need to scream and yell or throw things, but if I talk about what is bugging me, like Me did, I feel better.


As for people.....well, as Ronnie James said in one song, "It's always a mystery."

Assholes are usually the last to find out they are. If they know from the beginning and do nothing to troubleshoot their own issues, they are of the very worst kind. Glorifying jerkish behavior is a blight.

I am oft found being one meself, yet I usually don't notice I'm being that way. t points it out often, and I usually feel quite ashamed at myself when I realize she is right.

I just wish I was better at paying attention to myself, I could avoid bringing pain into the lives of others.

I think that it stems from being selfish at the core of my person.
