Dog breed game

Post by Xanadu »

How the game is played:

The first person names a breed...

The next person names a specific breed with some shared characteristic like coat type, colors, purpose, gait, country of origin, group, temperament etc. and they have to specify what it is...so know your breeds!: Oh and mutts are allowed too if you post a picture.

Here's an example:
Chow Chow

reply: Shar Pei, also has a black tongue.

So I am going to start with...

Portuguese Water Dog

Awwwwwwwww.....how gorgeous! Look at those markings! So pretty!

The German Pinscher is also from Germany, and is a dog the Doberman was bred from back in the day.

The Min Pin is a toy pinscher with a silly hackney gait.

This game is cool, even if we are the only two to play it. Why didn't I think of this before?

I agree it is fun, and maybe once the weekend is over someone else will join us in this game.

If not, play on, Xanny! :-D

A Pomeranian is another toy breed, ideally weighing between four and six pounds.

But you played and you played the game correctly! :-D

Like the Pekingese, the Shar-Pei is a dog of Chinese origin.

Yup, you're playing this right. Posting a dog with a shared characteristic.

Like the Chow, the Schipperke is in the non-working dog class.
