Here is one for ya: I was sitting at an intersection waiting to turn left when a bicyclist came from the cross street to my right. He did not stop even though the cross traffic had a green light and his was red. He rode through the two lanes of traffice closest to him and then turned into the lane next to me to make a left hand turn forcing all the vehicles who had the green light to avoid him. He then turned in to the turn lane behind me and crossed back over two lanes of traffic to get the to bike lane to ride against the traffic. WTF?!!??? Why did he not just turn into that bike lane when he was on that side of the street? ARGH!!!! This was anything but sharing the road. Riders like him give bicyclists a bad name.

Too bad there wasn't a member of the law enforcement community nearby. Here, cyclists have to obey the same rules of the road as cars. They can even be ticketed for speeding!

My biggest peeve is people TEXTING when they're supposed to be MOVING.

If you're on the road at a red light and traffic is leaving beside you while
you're stuck behind someone still at the light, chances are they're
TEXTING.

(That's when I give 'em a 12 Volt point-blank blast of some sweet horn justice.)

I guess I could be consoled by the fact that these things happen all over, but... safety, dude!

My rant . . . Too many people say one thing, then do another. When they are held accountable for their contradiction, they blame other people or circumstance, but never take responsibility. I HATE it!!!

I can't stand hypocrites. My little brother is a flaming liberal, low-info hypocrite.

He says one thing and does another all the time. He's been indoctrinated
well by his "progressive" liberal college professors.

Whenever he goes on a rant about conservatives and throws down the race
card (standard operational procedure for lib-coms), I just tell him, "Marx
called people like you 'useful idiots.' "

"Doctor, heal thyself."

And that's when he has a full-blown, stompy-foot, liberal conniption fit.

I am ranting against myself today. Too many bad choices, too many ignored opportunities.
