technically I have more guitars than basses, but I play more bass than guitar. I can now tune my other one down half a step and intonate it , for proper metal. And use that one in standard for stuff like satch and rock, maiden, etc. It serves a purpose I need to guitars to properly fill. Also has a completely differnet feel, much bigger body (more comfy too) I like the neck better (no hand fatigue on barre chords and such so far), the pickups sound better to me (might just be the new guitar high there though) It has a longer scale (25.5 over 25) so the strings feel tighter.

Next on the block is recording gear and amps. I am well sated as far as having quality axes at my finger tips.

Helps to get the sounds you want also. I understand with my guitarist, he has a ton of axes for all kinds of different sounds. Carvin V, Gibson SG and SG doubleneck, Gibson Les Paul. He also has a homemade V that he calls "The Surfboard," it don't sound too bad either.

Theres a nice shot of the top

I put up this one as it is a more accurate representation of the colour, not orangey at all, more like honey with molasses glazed edges.

They carried the burst onto the mahogany on the back, wasn't expecting that as I didn't ask for the option, but its subtle and cool

Kyle, it's gorgeous!!!

And that burst on the back really enhances the natural binding effect. Carvin continues to rule!
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

Cool. I tune down for Weezer and Skynyrd stuff. They did a surprising
amount of songs while tuned a half step down.

Matter-of-factly, I don't remember Rush tuning down until they did "2112"
live on "RIR," although Ged plays "Driven" on a drop-d-tuned bass.
Don't start none...won't be none.
