Now that IS cool t \m/ but I can't help but criticise the whole 'nostalgia' thang that numerous 'older' bands use to exploit loyal fans.
I've no doubt it will be a good show but basically it's a Dio-era 'Sabbath reunion tour devoid of new material. Motorhead (seen 'em!) and 'Down' (ex-Pantera) are supporting though which merits another \m/ :-D .

Actually, there will be three new songs by this old version of Sabbath and I can't care less that there will only be three new songs because I would go see it even if it were only their old material as I didn't ged to see them back in the day. I feel no exploitation as a loyal fan; I chose to buy the tickets because I WANT to see what they are selling.

Oh and although it was announced as Down and Motorhead as opening acts, Motorhead isn't playing, so I shan't be seeing Lemmy again. Instead Megadeth will be playing. Dave says the set shall be 45 minutes long (with him hoping to eek it out to 60) and will feature much material off the new album. :-D *is totally stoked to see Megadeth work out the kinks on these songs*

No disrespect intended t. I'd probably attend a similar type of gig if the band interested me enough. Three new songs? nice :-D .

I didn't think you were dissin' me, Ogg. Just sayin' my piece, you know me. lol

Siggs, I am not up to moshing in the pit for real anymore, no matter who is playing. I did it when I was younger, but even then it was tough keeping from getting crushed being small as I am.

Hah! Right pair of jessies arentcha? :-D . I used to get stuck right in back in the day. After moshing to 'Maiden in '84 and losing my glasses in the process I began to attach them to a cord for safety :-) . Of course these days I'm a little more subdued.
I think the worse moshpit I've ever been in was a 'Pantera' gig from '91, man I was bruised all over for weeks! \m/ \m/ \m/ :-D .

They had some of the best moshing I've ever seen.

Cowboys from Hell indeed. :P

Damn straight. Phil has had his back operation finally and hopefully back in full form. I can't wait to hear those songs.

Stone The Crow

A bout of deep depression.
Can't seem to move it forward.
My lying eyes lie awake.
Not sure what I am after.
I never died before.
Can't live what happened yesterday.
I never stoned the crow, no.
Flip through endless stories.
A life of hand-written pain.
No one can share this hurt that is mine, mine, mine.
I never died before.
Can't be what happened yesterday.
I shouldn't stone the crow, no.
Ride on!
Same old city, same old pain.
No matter how I try,
No matter what I say,
I'm blamed, I'm shamed,
I'm judged unfairly.
So now I've died before.
It feels as bad as yesterday.
I never stoned the crow, no.
You too have died before.
It's more than less of yesterday.
I never stoned the crow, stoned the crow, no, no.
