Uh....no. :-D

By the same token Elf, I understand what you're saying.

I just went to my littlest cousin's wedding reception....they were all
20-somethings....

Suddenly, on the dance floor, as I was pogo-ing to the B-52's
"Rock Lobster"....

Reality set in, and I carried myself back to my table and decided to act
my age. Sigette laffed SO hard.

It felt good to "go back" for a couple of minutes though.

Besides, I liked the B-52's before THEY did!

Just passin' the torch. hahaha
Okay, question. What's wrong with a lil pogo to the B-52s at "our age"? I mean, it's not like you were being a poser! As you said, you have been a fan since before they knew who the 52s were. I know I pogoed when I was a teen, you prolly did the same in your youth. Why do we have to act a certain way when we are older? Who says that we are no longer allowed to do fun stuff just because we are chronologically challenged? What is wrong with it? :?

To be honest, I always thought the B-52s were a stupid band to begin with.

BUT... what's wrong with it at "our age"? My boy bosoms bouncing all around for one thing.

I saw this tour, two nights before this video was shot- I was amazed at how much I remembered watching this video.

There was a lot of, uh, "smoke" in the area I was sitting in.

Thanks for this.

I have never seen, (Heard all about it though), the rabbits on stage.

And the headbutt and the vocal hijinx was very fun to watch.

Seeing Neil get up and wave vigorously and smile was refreshing.
He usually runs full speed to waiting transportation to get the hell outta dodge.
You can really tell it was prior to his world spinning out of control.

The rabbits have to be one of the neatest props I have seen used for a concert.

The same thing happened to Mike Pinder of the Moody Blues, when they stopped touring in 1974 after Seventh Sojourn - the fame did his head in (don't completely quote me on that, it's been a while since I have watched the biography) and when the Moodies got back together in 1978 to do Octave he recorded with them. When it came time to sign the contracts to go on tour (1979), he got as far as putting the pen in his hand and sitting in front of the contract, and he couldn't sign it.

Semi related:

Outside the Worcester Centrum after the show in 1991, I am sitting in the backseat my my friend's Isuzu Trooper, and a limo pulls up beside us, and the window in the back goes down. Geddy waves to me, and *whoosh* the limo takes off.

I was trying to converse that fact in the car but all I made was a bunch of gurgling noises...
