I agree but if they still sound good, it makes no difference to me. I have been to one that the old group sucked the singing wasn't the same, nor the music, I think it's time to call it quits then. I feel as if I was ripped off.

The two bands HATE each other. Back in the late '70s, Rush and Van Halen were backstage together somewhere. Geddy had a small tape recorder that contained musical ideas and rehearsal jams. Roth purposely dumped a drink down into it and ruined the tape and machine.
Then in the late '80s there was a big stink when Rush's manager, Ray Daniels, was courting VH and supposedly badmouthed Rush in the process. Sammy spilled the story to the press. I used to have the interview, but will have to do some very good sleuthing to find it again.

Anyway, it's highly unlikely that the two bands would ever play together.

Wow...I had no idea. That sounds highly unlikely to me too.

Is Michael Anthony in? I heard he was on the outs with Eddie....

And I heard Wolfie wrote the setlist. :P

No dates in MD/VA.

They sold out just about every time they played here...

Chumps.

...and still no sign of Michael Anthony.

No matter WHAT they say,
it's NOT the original lineup folks.

Don't believe the hype.

Wow, that's some expensive crap! They can get stuffed.

Cyg, Wolfie is the bass player, get used to it :(

I get the feeling this tour will be a disaster.

Any bets as to if DLR and EVH go to punching?

And how much did I pay through the Heaven and Hell site for Bear and I to stand feet away from the band? Less than what I would pay for ONE really bad VH seat. :?
