U.F.O.

Post by Big Blue Owl »

I've spent the morning listening to one of my old favorites from the '70s, U.F.O.
A few of the all-time best concerts had U.F.O. opening for Rush.

Michael Schenker was 16 when he recorded his first album with the band.

Here's a bunch of songs on video, live and otherwise:

BBO, you keep providing us with great links and fun stuff! :-D

UFO never got as big as some of the other bands, but they had good songs there.

Before bassist Pete Way went back to England a few years ago (and was subsequently denied a returning work visa) he lived in my hometown for years and played with several local musicians as The Pete Way band, my brother included. He was so-so-so-so drunk. Every time I was at one of his parties he challenged me (and everyone else) and "won." I saw a recent pic of him and can see the ravages of Vodka and Cocaine.
He's still going, though.
