Years ago.... I used to work at a shithole record label called Relativity Records..... I used to see all sorts of shit come back as returns to the warehouse. Basically.... I stole the friggin thing

Ah, yes, Apostrophe. That CD accompanied Aero and I when we terrorized the east coast in September of last year. Many a good memory from driving about with her listening to that.

Hey MK....Yeah, I'm a Dokken fan from waaay back....Actually, I'm a GEORGE LYNCH fan...Mr. Scary himself...I love his solo stuff too....Lynch Mob's a good listen....

Yep, Zappa's a homeboy (Baltimore)....I've seen him like 10 times...With the Mothers of Invention and solo stuff....The "Joe's Garage" band he had was TIGHT....Terry Bozzio's a MADMAN on drums...Dale Bozzio sang backups on it too...She was "Mary from Canoga Park" on "Joe's Garage"...She's cool on "Wet T-Shirt Night" too funny...

Check out the musician credits on "Apostrophe"....it's a who's who of talented people....George Duke, Jean Luc-Ponty, etc....One of my faves to this day...In fact, if you buy "Apostrophe" on CD, they throw in "Overnite Sensation" on it too...That's a good album as well...

He'll be missed, but Dweezil is coming along nicely...He can play as well!

Hubby and I were bummed that the one time we got to see Lynch, his pedaboard wasn't working properly. It would have been nice to see him play as he intended.

Already checked the credits out for Apostrophe. I have this nasty habit of checking out the liner notes on everything I get my grubby lil savage hands on.

When I saw Vinnie Colaiuta this past November, he had nothing but good to say about Frank and working with Frank.

That's too bad t....I've seen him both with and without Dokken, and he wailed each time...His "Mr. Scary" guitar was a Kramer...He always played nice axes...His speed is off the HOOK!! I could never understand how he could play while in those contorted positions and poses onstage...He was everywhere, and would crouch so low his guitar would bang the ground while he was soloing...My fave show was when Dokken opened for Judas Priest, who then opened for Queensryche on a triple-bill...that wasn't right....shoulda been the other way around for the latter two...Awesome show at any rate....I'd see THAT again...

It was always amazing to me and older folks, who watched JP with the hammer-ons that EVH took to the next level, and then George Lynch took it to that NEXT level....who's gonna be the one to reach the NEXT level?

Ain't gonna be me....I'm as fast as I'm gonna get without a hand transplant hahaha

I guess my all-time favorite show was Blue Oyster Cult back in '78...

They were one of the first to use uncontrolled lasers along with Led Zep..

Eric Bloom (of BOC) wore a laser on his finger and had no problem with pointing it at people hahaha They would also use a disco ball, and point lasers at it and break it up into thousands of pieces...the pieces would travel throughout the arena and (appear) to pass right through peoples bodies ( no I wasn't on 'shrooms either), freaking them out to high heaven...If you notice these days, laser shows are TAME to what Zep, BOC and Floyd used to do...the kids these days really missed out...

I'm a liner note reader too....there's some good information in them if you have the patience to read them...
