I always admired Manny Charlton. He was very economical on his solos
and said much in very few notes, just like B.B. King and Clapton.

"Hair of the Dog" and "Love Hurts" come to mind as perfect examples of
that - but he could also rip it up, as he did in "Razamanaz"

They were part of my "schooling" - literally.

I blasted them - along with Rush, of course - on the car stereo on the way
to school every day.
