Yeah, he's weird.

I bet none of you can do the Yoda Chant.
I can say this because I CAN do it. :-D

Story time!

I saw him live in August, 2007. I remember it well. My urge to kill rose as the crowd chanted, "We want Al! We want Al!". He was almost an hour late. I don't remember if he gave an excuse. He would've had a great excuse if he was late for his April 9, 2004 show, but I digress.

I waited patiently like a civilized indifidual. I think the show was supposed to begin at 7:30 and "Late Al" Yankovic showed himself at around 8:25.

The other fans were rather quiet during the insanity, which I appreciated. For some reason, everyone sang along with "Amish Paradise". Feeling light-hearted, I joined in. When Al came out wearing his "White & Nerdy hoodie (I have the t-shirt form) everybody stood.

I want to meet him. I think Al and I would be great friends.

Feel free to call me a blasphemer, but I believe I can do parodies just as good as any of his (if you like, I can show you some of my work).
I actually want to be BETTER than he.

Why yes, I am a bit envious, but my point stands.

From what I have seen in him he values people giving their all and trying hard to succeed and he is not threatened by another's talent.

I've dicsovered that watching the DVD of UHF with the commentary on may be even better than just watching the movie normally. :)

I've discovered the same with The Weird Al Show.

I have UHF as well. It was given to me for Christmas. I didn't really want it, but accepted it anyway. I figured, "Hey, it's got Weird Al in it. It just might be good". It was okay.
