The gesture was nice - Eddie is still a dickhead in my book.

Happy?

I went to the back of the rack and listened to "La Villa" off of "ESL" on my
way to work this morning....it was only then that I recognized the
incredible THREE STEP BEND Lerxst pulls during the "slowdown" solo.

I want a stinkin' case of THOSE strings.

Do you know why guitar solos (like the one in Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley and the Comets) sound the way they do?

Guitar strings were really heavy BITD - one genius guitar player found the G string could be swapped with a banjo string - voila! Bends all over the place.

(Try a set of Ernie Ball Extra Slinkys - I swear by them - I use a set of 9s)

I might do just that. Presently, I use Martin strings (.10).

Gilmour does some wild stuff with a 12-string, omitting some strings
on it altogether and only using treble strings.

"Hey You"

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful princess, Will you
marry me? The Princess said, NO!

And the Prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and fucked skinny
big titted broads and hunted and fished and raced cars and went to nudie
bars and dated women half his age and drank whiskey, beer and Captain
Morgan and never heard bitching and never paid child support or alimony
and ate pussies and fucked cheerleaders and kept his house and guns and
never got cheated on while he was at work and all his friends and family
thought he was fuckin cool as hell and had tons of money in the bank and
left the toilet seat up ….. The end
