..we dont have pop idol anymore but we have the same kind of show called the X-Factor...think Simon Cowell owns that...
I usually watch the auditions bit..although with the X-Factor I watched that every week cuz of Jade

Idol has become a popularity contest - until it gets down to the final 5 I ususally have it on for background noise.
