Went and saw the recruiter, got a great score on the pre-test for the asvab, if i get a similar score on the actual test i'll be able to go for any M.O. i want. Just gotta pass the actual test and the physical now, which shouldnt be a problem.

Good Stuff, Army physicals, at least in Canada aren't too bad, bunch of pushups, a run, a few chinups (they are lenient here in canada) and some sit ups. Its the shape they whip you into afterward that is key.

If you really want to own the physical I recommend a workout style called Crossfit, highly recommended by a lot of military trainers and whatnot, it is the most brutal stuff you can imagine, you can make yourself useless ofr days on end with it to boot. Canadian military recommends and I believe uses it in training. http://crossfit.com/

Edit: forgot to give some warning, read their articals in the jounrla on rabdomoliosis, even if you can complete the workouts, you could get it, not fun, ease onto them over a few weeks working up to full workouts, I mostly make my own off their principals, a lot of their workouts are fairly out of my league, I have a strength training background and some cardio but that part holds me back a bit, my friend in the reserves has the opposite, we could out about dead even, except I lift a little heavier (need comparative challenge and all that), however a lot is body weight, and I weight more.. that part sucks!
