An interesting thought that ER had in one of the error threads that I thought deserved discussion.

Talk amongst yourselves.

Well I've never seen a Rush fan wearing pointed ears

What else would we be?
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"

As long as we're not the Dr Who fans of the rock world - my anorak doesn't fit me now

I went to a Star Trek convention once... Gene Roddenberry spoke. It was kinda cool.

But the best part were the two blooper reels from the 60's. :)
Aren't you the guy who hit me in the eye?

And it's been longer than a 5 year mission....so they'd have to be Rush - The Next Generation

....it's continuing mission.....to explore complex new music.....to seek out new melodies and rythms.....to boldly go where no rock band has gone before.
Don't tell me about rock and roll I'm out there in the clubs and on the streets and I'm living it! I am rock and roll!

So do we now choose up who is which charcter from Star Trek like we did with Gilligan's Island, as it seems we do think Rushians are the Trekkies of the music world?

I'm either Data or Worf, but no matter which one, I get to kick Riker's ass on a daily basis....and I get to shoot Wesley Crusher with a phaser.

An anorak is a waterproof coat. According to convention, they are worn by the most inane and pedantic DR Wo fans and train spotters. Hence the word has come to mean that sort of person.

I suppose you could say that they're geeks without the charm and social skills.

You're either Quark from DSN, or Barclay from TNG.

Better yet, you can be one of the half white, half black guys from the original series.
