Oh, I dunno about that. I'm sure there are plenty of illegal drugs over there that people buy all the time. I expect if you know where to look, it's not hard to buy a gun.

One thing you gotta remember about the United States, it's huge over here. And it's diverse. There are certain areas of the country where I'm right there with you. No WAY would my kid be going to a public school in those areas. Fortunately, I chose an area with good schools in which to live.

As to the rest of the debate, yeah, we can agree to disagree. :) It has reminded me a lot of those old Star Trek arguements between Spock and Dr. McCoy. McCoy would argue with his heart from a purely emotional standpoint and Spock would respond with pure logic. They never changed each other's minds. :-D

I can only think of three Guns-n-Roses songs. I guess I don't know them very well. But one of the songs, Paradise City, reminds me too much of the song 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. Just sing the same freakin' line over and over and over. :)

See? This should go in the Why We Love Schu thread! She can disagree and she still loves us.

Guns and Roses make me wretch! Dirty, scummy, blue-teethed, screechy, spoiled little idiots. If I had 5 minutes alone with Axl Rose, boy.....

BANG! YER DEAD!!!

So guns DO have a practical, humanitarian use :-D

Yeah, that'll probably do it. I may need hollow points to get through that unwarranted ego, though :-D
