She's SO miserable today. Being a dad hurts sometimes.

Yes, Kyle, I have some vacation time and some sick time I can use.

I meant getting it was an excuse to get to use your sick time akin to paid vacation. I was being sarcastic :P

It can be rough.

My other daughter remains fine. I've had what I thought to be a cold (mostly a cough) since... not sure how long. But I haven't run a fever and for that reason I haven't seen a doctor. But the cough has been nagging me for so long I'm thinking about taking it to the doctor and seeing what he says.

I have heard that they are finding that even when one person has it, that it isn't necessarily spreading to all the family if precautions are being taken.

I am getting over some kind of flu type thing, had the worst sinus pressure above the eyes paired with fever off and on and the skin of my upper back and chest was tight feeling, like a sunburn with pinprick allergic reaction feeling spots (no marks however). Was a fun weekend, wrote 2 midterms like that. haha. We'll see how the sunday one went, I think mondays was fine.

Flu hits hard and fast, so if you've had a cough for a while, it's
probably a cold or some other upper respiratory infection.

Yeah, that was my daughter's experience. Was fine when she went to bed. Woke up in a world of hurt.
