Just arrived at our hotel.
Gonna check out the Boardwalk.
Mrs K on crutches so it's slow going, but
we have the day to explore.

Will try to review tonight's show afterwards.

PV, got your cell, I'll call you later.
Maybe we could meet up on our way back north tomorrow.

Sadly PNC is out this time around.
:(

Woo hooo!!!!
Great show from the boys tonight.

Geddy said Happy Birthday America, and thought they had never
played on July 4th before.

During the end of Spirit, Neil did a martial beat and Alex played a line or two
of "When the Saints Go Marching In".

During the encore, Neil wore a new tea cozy which had the American flag stars & stripes on the facing with a red top, and before Ged's last solo bass line in YYZ, Alex played the chords to "Over There" (I forget which service that song is for, d'oh!).

The lights didn't fall from the ceiling at all and they didn't at PNC last year, so I wonder if there some sort of law involved for lighting rigs in NJ.
It totally changed Between The Wheels' look.

The crowd in my section sat except for the standards, which was good cus Mrs K could then see, but the guy to my right kept backing into me.
But it made for a dull section.

On a side note......is NJ the new world headquarters for lesbians?
Not that they bother me,
we have friends who are,
but they are everywhere!
Sorry Soup, not the ones you'd want to watch either.
 :-D

Overall a good night, and now on to Monday night at Mohegan Sun
for my 28th drumming lesson from the Master.

MK or PV. I have to cancel PNC. Would either of you like my tickets?

They're Section 101 Row U. I can overnight them. Was going to put them on Ebay but may not have the time.

Lemme know!!!

A personal conflict. I'm bummed a bit because I was supposed to meet up with Rich Atkins, a writer I know who is riding with Neil. :(

Sadly I have obligations Saturday.
Going to Manchester tomorrow night for #29

Wonder if it will be my last overall........but I think they have one more tour in them in 2010.

It wasn't written for any ONE service. It's a Cohan tune written and sung by everyone during WW's I and II.

Young people...

j/k MK. Glad you had fun at the show, and kudos for the lessons.

I'm taking "Lerxst 201" study myself...I finished
"Introduction to Lerxst 101" last year.

Now, if I only had his gear... ***drools over a ES355 of my own***

Ya, I remember my grandmother singing that. She was a WW1 Yeomonette (Navy). My Dad sang it in WW2 (Army) etc.

Uhhhh...I MAY still be going to PNC!!! Slim chance and a TOTAL PITA to do (not to mention $1,000 in gas) but maybe I can swing it.

Fingers crossed!!!

If I go, t, since the "gang" isn't going this time I'll have to still have someone tak a pic of the shirt I'll be wearing just for you. :-D
