Big Blue Owl wrote:But when I play that album I get a priceless feeling of nostalgia and longing for the past. I still remember first listening to it with a buddy in 1975. Basement jam room. Posters of Alice and Sabbath on the walls. We thought (and probably were) the coolest kids around because this was our heavy metal secret, and we were listening the HELL out of it. Imbibed it.

The first album may have been raw and possibly infantile, but to some it was and is still magic. :-)
Now that's cool! I wasn't there from the beginning. I was converted to Rush when Hemispheres was brand new. Had I been there from the beginning I'd probably feel just as you do. :)

All I ever read is negative stuff about the 1st album.

Thanks for correcting this BBO and for sharing your memories.

Still Magic!

The pleasure is all mine.

Now, S&A...Workin' Them Angels. That's a powerful song, eh?

That was the one stuck in my head after the concert. Cool song. Great montage of images on the screens too.

With you all charged up, BBO, we will be able to hook you up to some cables and use you to help with the By-Torian energy bill! :-D
