With MUCH respect to VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show" ....

Out of my disbelief over a 3-2 vote for KISS, let's rehash and debate
this "Throwdown" question on a recent show featuring guests Dee Snider
and JJ French of Twisted Sister:

Question:

WHO HAS THE MOST LOYAL FANS:

KISS....or RUSH?

GO!

Somehow I knew you would say that. lol

I'm going for Rush, myself. I mean, we can be quiet about it and still be secure in our love for Rush.

So you went to a Kiss gig as a rock and roll minority?

Kiss Army VS. Rush Freaks

After due consideration my brain is telling me that a Kiss fan's connection with Kiss would be inherently less deeply involved, both musically, lyrically and possibly even superficially. That may not have been true up to 1977, but I would wager it has been since then.

So if most means most loyal, not most numbers, Rush logically wins it, I submit. But if most means numbers, Rush illogically wins. :-D

I base my decision purely on mass of fans.

Rush is way better in all aspects, but the rabid nature of Kiss fans is undenyable.

BBO Bro! Were you at Cap Centre for Kiss Alive in '76 or Alive II
(aka the "Love Gun" Tour) in '77, or am I THAT friggin' old?

I was there Bro, but I'm going with Rush by virtue of QUALITY - not QUANTITY.

I agreed with JJ French, in that Gene Simmons pretty much whored-out
KISS.

and Hairy's right too....the KISS Army will buy ANYTHING they put out,
but I gotta go with class and skills, and Rush fans have both.

Rabid and more numerous, but....I'm still saying Rush's fans are more loyal for the reasons BBO gave. After all, the q was most loyal, not more numerous.

Well, you could let her see you trying to pick Todd's nose! LOL (I'd let Todd in on the experiment first, though. ;-) )
