There is a guy who lives near my office who puts a sign up at the end of September every year to count down the number of days left till Christmas.

I went by there today and we are down to 83 boys and girls!

Absitively! Posolutely! Gone are the days when ordering on line would save time. Last year was a NIGHTMARE for getting things delivered on time!!!

BTW, I didn't mean our postmen made it a nightmare (kudos ONLY to you Ogg at this tough time of year) but I meant the sites themselves like Amazon. Boy! Order a book Dec 7 and they'd say "Shipping date December 29!!!" Grrrr

Or how about order a book in stock supposed to ship out the next day and then receive a note saying that they are so sorry but the book really is on back order and they will get it in again.....in February!
