I judge myself every day. There is nobody more equipped to do this than yourself. I won't live my short life not doing this or that because you have a belief, even though I completely respect and would protect your right to give up all of your possessions, wear a potato sack and preach at the top of your lungs on a street corner wearing a sandwich-board sign stating the the End Is Nigh.

I'm gonna go one step further...so many people here tell they're beliefs here as if it is fact...and quite right so if that's what you believe....
my belief is not 'there may be no such thing' but that there isnt such a thing...

when people post there religious beliefs I do not question them...I may reiterate my beliefs though...I dont think its right that us atheist should be questioned and told that we are gonna be judged...when quite frankly we believe there is no one to judge us apart from what owlie said which is ourselves

Hear-hear! It's almost offensive. Not intentionally, of course, but to be told by one of your peers that I'm doomed to a pit of fire for eternity is a bit much on a Rush fan site. Now if I was on savior.com that'd be diffy.

Just as it is offensive to be told that because you do believe you are an idiot, or clueless, or not looking at the facts, or not facing reality, too weak to live without a crutch, et cetera.

No one in this thread has said that to me that I recall but all those things have been said to me.
