Sorry I missed this, Funky. Thanks for the info. What's Rikishi been up
to? Haven't seen him in forever. I heard that (the late) Umaga was his
brother.

Breaking News: Batista To Fight For Strikeforce MMA
Posted on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 10:13 am

TMZ.com broke the story on Monday morning that former WWE superstar
Dave Batista is becoming a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter.

The 6′5″, 290 pound Batista was in Hollywood over weekend and told TMZ
that he?s headed to the Strikeforce MMA promotion, home of another
former WWE superstar, Bobby Lashley.

Batista even told the TMZ camera guy that he already has his first fight
lined up, but can?t comment on it just yet.

There have been rumors for months that the 41 year old Batista would be
following in the footsteps of Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley.

Now, its official.

I still think he shows up at indy shows - not sure if he he's allowed to use the Rikishi Fatru moniker

and yes Umaga was his brother - he was also Jamaal of 3 minute Warning (with cousin Rosie)

not sure what's happening with Jericho.... contract's up and not yet renewed... Hope he re-sings, and also not to bury him in upper mid-card hell

I heard there's a Fozzy tour coming up soon. There you go.

R.I.P. El Gigante. I liked that dude. He'll be missed.

Jericho suffered a "viscious punt to the head" and will be out indefinitely.

^^^ OUCH! That's gonna leave a mark.

Mick Foley did a radio interview on the LaVar & Dukes show on The Fan
yesterday - plugging his upcoming match with Ric Flair.

You know, there are just certain people that shouldn't in the ring
anymore....Hogan, Piper, and now...Ric Flair. I just cringe when I see
one of them try to 'rassle again...not that Hogan was a 'rassler to begin
with.

Hogan only had four "moves"...

1. Irish Whip
2. Big Boot
3. Leg Drop
4. Pin
Don't start none...won't be none.

don't forget "punch"

don't really want to see Bret Hart in any more matches, though I don't think he's actually tried to have an actual match - think WWE just booked him for matches but carefully worked around the fact that he can't physically wrestle anymore - basically hype a match and have someone interfere

I think they once announced on a RAW that he didn't appear in tha he'd be in a match the next week, and he didn't kow about it until someone watched the show and told him about it
