I remember "Friday Night Videos" on NBC. I used to watch it all the time in the mid-1980's. There was another video show on back then called "Dr. Demento" (or similar).
I never knew that Rush did a video for ESL. Is it out of print?
Did Rush shoot a video of the GUP tour? I think I remember seeing it for sale in a catalog once, but it was out of print.
The first time I ever saw Rush live (in concert) was the Power Windows tour in Spring 1986.
The first time I ever "saw" Rush was a video on "Friday Night Videos". It was definitely a video from GUP. I am about 80 percent certain that it was "The Body Electric", although it could have been "Distant Early Warning". It was definitely one of those two videos.

Hi Augie,

There is a live video for Exit...Stage Left and also for the Grace Under Pressure tour. I'm sure you'd be able to pick up both videos on Ebay somewhere.

Also the video you saw could have been either of TBE or DEW as videos were shot for both. Also videos were shot for Afterimage and The Enemy Within.

Check out the Chronicles DVD for all those videos.

Dr. D. had a video show? OH MAN! If only! That would be hilarious.
