Good post T.

I have to admit to sugar abuse, as many us already have.

It's in EVERYTHING. Not cool. I find myself confused because
what's low in sugar is usually high in sodium, and vice-versa.

I saw a interesting TV documentary about the eating habits of Robins.

When presented with a FEAST of worms, in every case,
they only ate what they NEEDED - and they didn't binge!

We could learn from them. :???:

If I only had worms available, I would only eat what was required to survive as well...

People buy stuff because its "low in fat" but they don't realize its high in sugar/carbs and that's WORSE than fat! They also don't pay attention to the fact that the more processed food is, the less nutritional value and bio-availability of nutrients. Not only do you need to realize if your food is protein, carb/sugar pr fat but what quality! fried foods have LOW quality fat, but sushi has good fat. Green veggies are good carbs where as grains are BAD...tofu is NOT good protein where as raw milk is great or meat cooked slow with low heat.

There is NOTHING good about grains, they have to be cooked a lot, they interfere with the absorption of other nutrients, they don't have anything that you can't ged easier form other foods, they're a source of allergy, high in bad carbs, likely genetically modified, low in calcium, high in phosphorous (i think)...etc etc.

When you cut out grains you feel so much better that you don't want to eat it...I do however occasionally fall for a slice of pizza or something but regret it afterwards and then don't do it for a while. :-D

I guess so, seeds and nuts are good if they are raw. Certain ones are better sources of EFAs than others.
